Abnormal Pap smear
If the doctor diagnosed a woman has an abnormal Pap smear result, it is another sign of ovarian cancer. The doctor will do a test called a pelvic examination to discover the tumor or cyst. If the doctor determines that the ovary is cancerous, then it will be removed. However, sometimes it is not detected until much later when there is already another problem.
When to see a doctor ?
If you have felt any of the above signs, it is essential to immediately report it to your doctor. You should never ignore the condition as it may develop into something more serious. The most important thing to do is notify your doctor immediately if you experience any of these signs. Some of the symptoms above can also be present in other conditions not associated with ovarian cancer. Your doctor needs to make a diagnosis to rule out other conditions.
